Osgood Golf Course is open.
Welcome to Osgood!
Osgood Golf Course is truly a unique facility to the region.
The par 33, 9-hole course, designed by Kevin Atkinson of Phelps
Design, is visually intimidating, yet very playable for all skill
levels.
"Osgood golf course offers every level of player a great
golfing experience. Osgood is the premiere
9-hole golf course and learning center in the area. Its rolling
hills make it a challenge to even the best players yet with 5
different tee-box options, all players can enjoy the course.
Don’t have time for 9 holes? Play our 3 hole loop for $5.00.
Join one of our leagues or
take a lesson. We look
forward to serving you and helping improve your game. See you
at Osgood." Lisa
Schwinden, PGA Head Professional at Osgood.
Osgood's Role in Player Development
Osgood's rolling terrain measures 1,961 yards
from the front tees and extends to 2,820 yards from the back
tees. High peaks, water, native grasses and rough-faced bunkers
will be offset with generous fairways and easily accessible greens.
The course should grab the attention of all golfers and be enjoyable
to players of all skill levels.
In addition to the 9-hole course there are
three practice holes that may be used for both regular play and
teaching individual and
group lessons. The ability to take students onto the course
to conduct lessons will be very beneficial in the learning process.
A large practice range, short-game area and putting green will
be available for golfers looking to improve their skills in all
areas of the game. The practice range, which features bent grass
target greens surrounded by bunkers, will allow golfers to practice
as if they were playing on the course.
The goals for Osgood are to continue to create player
development programs and to continue to grow the game of
golf. Once players are introduced to the game, the staff will
work hard to retain them by providing a fun, enjoyable, non-intimidating
golfing experience. Individual and group lesson
programs, leagues, tournaments and
outings will all be incorporated into the plans at Osgood.
