Lisa Schwinden, PGA Head Professional

Commitment and passion for the game of golf has been a trademark of Lisa’s tenure at the Osgood Golf Course.

Lisa played collegiate golf at the University of Portland from 1998-2002. She was a four-time West Coast Conference All-Academic Team member and the individual winner of the 2000 Lewis and Clark Invitational. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, she returned to Fargo to begin the PGA’s Professional Golf Management Program.

Lisa earned her PGA Class A membership in 2005, completed the PGA’s Certified Professionals Program in Instruction in 2007, and completed her PGA Master Professional Program in 2019.

Lisa’s LPGA Girls Golf Club of Fargo has been nationally recognized as a leader in growing the game of golf to girls.
Since 2005, her passion is teaching golfers of all ages and experience levels. Lisa’s relaxed and low-pressure style of teaching helps form an environment conducive to learning while making beginner and intermediate golfers feel comfortable.

As Head Professional of Osgood Golf Course since 2005, Lisa has received many honors, including:

  • Dakota Chapter PGA – Facility Promoter of the Year – 2005
  • Dakota Chapter PGA- Junior Golf Leader Award – 2009, 2011, and 2014
  • Dakota Chapter PGA- Golf Professional of the Year – 2016
  • YWCA of Cass County’s Woman of the Year in Youth Advocacy – 2014
  • Minnesota Section PGA – Facility Promoter of the Year – 2017
  • Minnesota Section PGA – Bill Strausbaugh Award – 2019

Lisa is currently one of a handful of female PGA Head Professionals in the tri-state region.

Victor Heitkamp, Golf Course Superintendent

Victor has been employed with the Fargo Park District since 1991. He started as a seasonal employee at Edgewood Golf Course right out of high school. In 1996, he was hired full-time as a crew foreman and in 2000 became Assistant Superintendent of Edgewood. In 2004, he became Superintendent of Osgood Golf Course.

He graduated in 1995 with an Associates Degree in Business Management. He and his wife, Kristen, have 2 children.
