The Fargo Park District driving ranges are open at Rose Creek, Osgood and Edgewood Public Golf Courses and practice facilities at all courses with modified procedures due to COVID-19 concerns. The Fargo Park District is focused on providing opportunities to responsibly remain active during this time. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) staying physically active is one of the best ways to keep your mind and body healthy.
All users are asked to practice physical distancing and personal responsibility. Modified procedures were created with information from the PGA as well as the CDC, state and local health officials. Every effort is being made to limit contact points and to ensure that everyone adheres to the recommended 6 feet of distancing.
No cash will be accepted at the driving ranges. New range ball dispensers have been installed at Rose Creek, Osgood, and Edgewood. The new dispensers allow customers to purchase range balls at the ball dispenser with a credit or debit card. At Rose Creek and Edgewood driving ranges tokens from a previous purchase or remaining punches on a punch card, must be exchanged at the Pro Shop. A maximum of three tokens are accepted at a time.
Hitting spaces are positioned 10 feet apart to maintain physical distancing on the driving ranges. Practice facilities are available without holes or extras to reduce contact points.
As previously announced, Prairiewood, El Zagal, Rose Creek and Osgood Public Golf Courses are open for the season. Riding carts are not available at any course due to soft turf; course conditions monitored daily to determine cart usage moving forward. Push cart rentals are now available at Prairiewood, Rose Creek and Osgood Public Golf Courses.
