FAQs – Fargo Golf
You have questions and we (probably) have answers. Here are some commonly-fielded questions from our golf instructors and pro shop members related to golfing at our Fargo courses.
Our courses are generally open at dawn and closed at dusk, because that’s when the best golf happens. Hours vary by course, so make sure to keep an eye on each course’s specific page for hours or call ahead to make sure you are teeing off at the right time.
You can book tee-times by visiting FargoGolf.net and clicking the “Book Tee-Time” button or in-person at the pro-shop. Tee-times open up online at 6:00 am, three days in advance. Don’t wait too long, tee-times fill fast!

Life happens, we get it. If you can’t make your tee time, just give us a heads up at least 2 hours in advance. Our courses stay busy, and a quick cancellation or update helps open that spot up for someone else who’s ready to play.
You’ll get reminder notifications 48 hours and 24 hours before your tee time through our booking system, so you’ve got plenty of chances to make changes if your plans shift. You can cancel or adjust your player count through your booking, the reminder messages, or by calling the golf shop. Please note that changes are not accepted by email or voicemail.
If no one shows up for a reservation (a “no-show”), or fewer players show up than booked without updating it ahead of time (a “short-show”), it counts as a violation. We’re not charging fees for this, but after two violations in a season, online booking privileges will be turned off for the rest of the year. At that point, tee times can still be booked by phone, but they must be prepaid.

Nope! Not at Edgewood, El Zagal, Rose Creek, or Prairiewood at least. But don't worry, we have plenty of carts for you to borrow for your round.
Osgood does allow private carts, however, there is a $350 trail fee for the 2025 season.
Yes, and they’re the best deal if you golf regularly. We’re not a country club, but let’s keep it respectable! Shirts and shoes are required (yes, we have to say that). Golf attire is encouraged, but as long as you’re comfortable and presentable, you’re good to go.
Yes! Rose Creek, Edgewood, and Osgood all have full-service restaurants and bars on-site. Prairiewood and El Zagal have clubhouses with limited snacks and drinks available. Oh and no outside alcohol allowed – state laws and all that.

Yes! We are all about getting the next generation into the game and offer a robust junior golf program. For young golfers ages 5 to 12, we offer fun, instructional programs to help young golfers learn the fundamentals of the game. These programs focus on skill development, course etiquette, and most importantly, having fun on the course. We also offer the Discover Junior Golf Tour, which was created to give junior golfers (ages 7-18) a competitive golf experience. Players compete in individual stroke play tournaments with four-levels of competition based on age. The Discover Junior Golf Tour is a great way to test skills, gain experience, make friends and have fun on the course. Learn more about our junior golf programs by visiting the Junior Golf page.
