Volunteer Opportunities
Starter
Starters will serve to announce the participants as they tee off. This will occur on either the 1 or 10 tee box.
Live Scorer
Live scoring is a fun and unique aspect of discover junior golf. Using our Golf Genius software and a mobile device (phone or tablet) Collecting scores at selected times during the round allows family & friends to keep track of the golfers even if they’re unable to attend.
Player Registration
Assist with players as they check in for the tournament. Provide them with any important information regarding the round, the practice range, lunch, and their tee gift if applicable.
Shuttle Driver
Shuttles Drivers will need to have the ability to operate a golf cart and shuttle kids from the green to the next tee. We ask that shuttle drivers be available for the entirety of the shift they are able to work.
Spotter
Ball spotters are strategically placed on specific parts of the golf course that might cause issues for the golfers and their ability to find their golf ball (blind tee shots, narrow holes, or long fescue)
